Pennsylvania Supreme Court Appoints HARRISBURG, March 19. 2002 — The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania today announced the appointment of four new members to the Minor Court Rules Committee and other organizational changes. The Hon. Robert S. Blasi, Philadelphia and District Justices M. Kay DuBree, Bucks County; Robert V. Manlove, Cumberland County and Henry J. Schireson, Montgomery County were each appointed to three-year terms, beginning April 1. Chester County District Justice Thomas E. Martin Jr. was named committee chair, beginning April 1. The Minor Court Rules Committee examines and evaluates the rules and standards regarding the conduct of district justices and their offices. It also recommends new rules and amendments to existing rules of civil procedure for district justices to the Supreme Court. The committee is comprised of eight members who serve terms of three years: seven appointed and one ex officio district court administrator representing the Pennsylvania Association of Court Management. Members may serve a maximum of two full terms.
