                      TRAFFIC CITATIONS - HEARING COST
 
     Traffic citations, which have a $5.00 hearing cost printed on the
back of them, can be used until June 30, 2000, provided that the 
issuing/filing officer crosses out the $5.00 hearing cost, writes in 
the $6.00 hearing cost, and initials the change. 

     Starting July 1, 2000, traffic citations with the $5.00 hearing cost
can no longer be used and must be replaced with the new citation listing 
the hearing cost as $6.00.
