VERSION 4 Informational 4.13 February 13, 2001 Page 1 of 1 DELETION REQUESTS Before sending a deletion request to the Help Desk, use the following checklist to make sure the case can go through the deletion procedure without error. The Help Desk is unable to perform a deletion unless all of the following conditions are met. 1) The case being deleted cannot have money on it. Any money associated with the case, including money held in escrow, must be voided, moved, or refunded. 2) The case must go through both a weekly and a monthly report if a payment or adjustment was recorded on the case. 3) All checks associated with the case must be cleared. 4) The case cannot have a disposition on it unless that disposition is CNCL. 5) Active warrants and DL-38s cannot exist on the case. 6) The case cannot be linked to a contempt case. Please take the necessary steps to ensure that a case can go through a deletion without error before sending a deletion request to the Help Desk. ARCHIVED CASES DJS users are reminded that the procedure for accessing archived cases was modified on November 6, 2000. Archived cases are now accessed through the Select an Existing Case screen.
