VERSION 4 Informational 4.21 June 15, 2001 Page 1 of 1 NEW DJS HELP DESK TELEPHONE CENTER Beginning June 19th, you will hear a new message when you call the DJS Help Desk. This new, interactive message gives you the option to connect to the Operations Department or to the DJS Help Desk, depending on the type of call. This new call center system will speed our response time and address your needs more quickly. Your calls will be forwarded directly to the appropriate department, and most telephone transfers will be eliminated. After the welcoming message, you will be instructed to press 1 if your call is related to hardware, userIDs, or the system is down. Pressing 1 will connect you to the AOPC Operations Department. Specific examples of these types of issues include a printer not responding, a varied off DJS session, a session that won't reconnect, a blank screen, or a desktop connection problem. Press 2 if your concern or question is about the DJS, Word, or JNET processing. Pressing 2 will connect you to the DJS Help Desk. If you are not sure which selection to make, press 2 for the DJS Help Desk. If you don't make any selection, your telephone call will be answered by the DJS Help Desk.
