VERSION 4 Informational 4.26 December 6, 2001 Page 1 of 1 Several offices did not receive laser fax "Court Costs - 2002" originally sent on December 4. Others reported that the formatting of the laser fax made it difficult to read. We are therefore reissuing the laser fax along with a new topic, "Central Court Printing." COURT COSTS - 2002 Act 167 of 1992 (House Bill 627) provided for annual increases in court costs each January 1st based upon the percentage increase in the Consumer Price Index. In the past, the AOPC sent out a laser fax in December that set forth the new cost table for the following year. Act 167 expired on January 1, 2001; therefore, we do not anticipate any cost increases for 2002. We will update you if new legislation is introduced and passed that provides for such an increase. CENTRAL COURT PRINTING If you are periodically assigned to work at central court and need to print Word or JNET documents at the central court location, please call the DJS Help Desk to request that your central court printer be added to your printer selection list. After you have been notified that the printer has been added, you will be able to select the central court printer in the print dialogue box when printing either a JNET or Word document. For additional instructions on printing Word documents, refer to the Basic Word User's Guide for District Justice Offices or call the DJS Help Desk.
