     NEW COLUMN ON BROWN BOARD FOR FIREARM AND TRAINING FUND (CA17)
     
          Use of the CA17 Cost Code for the Firearm Education and
     Training Fund was addressed in Modifications 3.6 and 3.9.  A new
     column for this cost code has been created on the Other Receipts
     Income Report,  REV-753EX-Brown.  FIREARMS E&T has been added to the
     headings in the last column of this report.
     
     
     DJS WILL ALLOW FURTHER POSTING AFTER BAIL FORFEITURE
     
          For some time it has not been possible to POST additional bail
     after forfeiture of the full bail amount posted. If monetary bail
     had been set, the full amount posted, the full amount forfeited, and
     a new SET was then performed, the system did not allow the new
     amount to be posted.  The error message, CSE0398 - TOTAL CANNOT
     EXCEED SET AMT MINUS AMT ALREADY POSTED displayed. This has been
     corrected.  Also, the system will accept EBL payments after a post
     has been performed following a full bail forfeiture.
     
          After you have performed the new SET or BMOD, the system will
     now allow you to post the full amount of monetary bail set, even if
     you had posted on an earlier SET.  With Bail Forfeiture, it is still
     necessary to perform a Service of Process on the Notice of Bail
     Forfeiture.  It will  also take 20 days after the forfeiture action
     for the check to the Clerk of Courts to appear on the Print Checks
     screen.
     
          The Service of Process record must have been marked SRVD or
     FAIL in order for the check to be created 20 days after the
     forfeiture action.  You will not, however, be able to perform a new
     SET until the Service of Process on the Notice of Bail Forfeiture
     has been marked  SRVD.   
     
     
     
     NEW ERROR MESSAGE WITH SECOND BAIL FORFEITURE SET ASIDE
     
          If you attempt to perform a Bail Forfeiture Set Aside (BFSA)
     when the full amount has already been set aside, the error message,
     CSE0475 - THE FULL AMOUNT HAS PREVIOUSLY BEEN SET ASIDE will

      DISTRICT JUSTICE COMMISSION EXPIRATION DATE 
     PRINTS ON BAIL BOND AND SURETY INFORMATION PAGE
     
          The commission expiration date of the district justice will
     now print on the Bail Bond (AOPC 414A1-97) and the Surety
     Information  Page (AOPC 414A5-97).  On the Bail Bond, the Clerk of
     Courts or Issuing Authority signature line and SEAL area have been
     moved to an area lower and to the right.  On the Surety Information
     Page, the Signature of District Justice line and SEAL area have been
     moved to the lower right area of the form.
