              LIVE SCAN TECHNOLOGY NUMBER
     
          THE LTN IS NEVER TO BE USED IN PLACE OF THE OTN ON THE DJS. 
     LTNs are to be entered in the COMPLAINT NO field.  Enter the Live
     Scan Technology number in the COMPLAINT NO field on the Criminal
     Court Case Entry screen or in the COMPLAINT NO field on the
     Arraignment for Other Courts screen. This is in accordance with
     written instructions from the Pennsylvania State Police. 
     
          
            RECORDING DISPOSITIONS IN CIVIL
               AND LANDLORD/TENANT CASES
                            
          The DJS has been changed so that you will be required to
     select an event before recording certain event results in a civil or
     landlord/tenant case.  Specifically, you must select the Civil
     Action Hearing or the Recovery of Real Property before entering the 
     disposition of "for plaintiff," "for defendant," "default judgment
     plaintiff," or "default judgment defendant."  This change was made to
     ensure that the appropriate sequence of events is recorded on these
     cases.  You will continue to be able to record other dispositions,
     such as "settled" or "dismissed without prejudice" in civil and
     landlord/tenant cases without being required to select an event. 
     
     
         CODE OF "OTHER" ADDED TO VEHICLE TYPE
     
          A new code of "OTHER" (OTH) has been added to the list of
     vehicle type codes.  Key in or select OTH when the vehicle type is
     different from any of the existing choices.
     
     
           CHANGE TO CHECKING ACCOUNT REPORT
     
          Reprinted checks will now print on the Checking Account Report 
     when a Transaction Type of CHK is entered, or the Transaction Type
     field is left blank.
