	MOVING PRIVATE CRIMINAL COMPLAINT CASES TO NONTRAFFIC DOCKET

     Since December 31, 1997, when a charge disposition of MVNT was entered
on a criminal case, the "Move to Non Traffic" screen displayed.  Sometimes,
however, the criminal case originates with a Private Criminal Complaint
and the redocketed case should be a private summary case. 
     If a charge disposition of MVNT is entered on a criminal case which 
has Officer Signature as "N" and Affiant Signature as "Y", the "Move to 
Private Summary" screen will display.  To emphasize, if a Criminal Complaint
is filed by a private citizen, be sure to answer Affiant Signature "Y" and
Officer Signature "N" at Criminal Case Entry, so that the correct 
redocketing screens will appear if the charge is reduced.



	REPRINTING CHECKS AFTER PAPER JAM OR PRINTING ON INCORRECT PAPER

   OFFICE ACCOUNTING
     CHECK MAINTENANCE   Record check number to be reprinted.
         Enter.  Use Maintenance code "RPRN"
                 Select Reason code from the F4 list
         Enter.  The check will then appear on the Print Check 			     screen for you to reprint and the original check
                 is voided.


                   CONSTABLE CERTIFICATION NUMBER

Constable Certification Numbers are added to the District Justice System 
here at AOPC, Mechanicsburg. Certification numbers are assigned to 
constables and electronically forwarded to the AOPC for recording after 
constables complete their Constable Education Program.
