Version 4 Modification 4.42 August 1, 2001 Page 1 of 1 CERTIFIED CONSTABLES The Supreme Court has adopted amendments to Rules 202, 307, 403, 404, 405, 506, 508, 516, and 811 of the Rules of Conduct, Office Standards and Civil Procedure for District Justices, effective August 1, 2001. These amendments provide that when service is to be made by a constable, he or she must be certified. Civil forms that contain a constable signature line and refer to a "Constable" have been changed to "Certified Constable." The following forms have this updated language.
