The default number of copies is 2, but that can be changed to any number from 1 to 9. To change this number on a case by case basis, move the cursor to the Number of Copies field and type a different number. If you consistently want more or less than 2 copies to print, you will need to change the default number. To change the default number: 1. From any menu selection screen outside the case, type 55 (Maintenance) and press . 2. On the Maintenance Menu, type 5 (Default File) and press . 3. On the Maintain Default File screen, type CSE20D01 and press . 4. Press until the cursor is positioned on the Default field for Number of Copies and type the default number of receipts to print. 5. Press and then to return to the Maintenance Menu. 6. To change this default number for the Miscellaneous Payment Entry screen, repeat the steps, but at step 3, type CSE19D01 for the Miscellaneous Payment Entry screen defaults. VERSION 4 Modification 4.51 January 3, 2002 Page 2 of 2 PROMPT FOR CANCELING A SCHEDULED EVENT AFTER FULL PAYMENT When a full payment is taken on a case that has an event scheduled in the future a prompt will now display asking you if you want to cancel the event. The message reads, "DO YOU WANT THE SCHEDULED EVENT TO BE CANCELED? Y/N" If you answer Y for yes, all future events on the case will be canceled. If you answer N for no, you will have to cancel any future events one at a time to clear your calendar. CANCEL DL-38 WHEN CASE BALANCE IS ZERO When the DL-38 is active, ACTIVE DL-38 displays on the Payment Entry screen. When the full payment or last payment is receipted, the DL-38 will now automatically be canceled. The process works for both predisposition and postdisposition DL-38s. If the full or last payment is later voided, the question, "DO YOU WANT TO REINSTATE THE DL-38 TICKLER? Y/N" displays. If you answer Y for Yes, the message, "TICKLER HAS BEEN REINSTATED" displays. WORD "DATE" REMOVED FROM FORMS The word "Date" has been removed from the bottom of some DJS forms because it was not necessary. The forms from which "Date" has been removed include: AOPC 412C - AFFIVADIT OF PROBABLE CAUSE AOPC 602 - RELEASE OF PRISONER AOPC 608 - JUVENILE CERTIFICATION FORM AOPC 609 - COMMITMENT AOPC 614 - RECOMMITMENT AOPC 619 - FUGITIVE NOTICE AOPC 730 - BAIL RELEASE CONDITIONS AOPC 731 - BAIL RELEASE CONDITIONS MARRIAGE The DJS now allows for costs to be canceled and for refunds to be issued on marriage cases. In addition, an archive date will be set on all marriage cases that have a case balance of $0.
