Pennsylvania Supreme Court Announces
Disciplinary Board Changes

HARRISBURG, March 30, 2004 - The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania today announced the appointment of a new member to the Disciplinary Board and other organizational changes.

William Pietragallo II, Esq., Allegheny County, was appointed to a three-year term, beginning April 1, 2004.

Louis N. Teti, Esq., Chester County, was designated chair, beginning April 1. Marvin J. Rudnitsky, Esq., Snyder County, was designated vice chair, also beginning April 1.

The 16-member Disciplinary Board was created by the Supreme Court in 1972 to consider and investigate the conduct of any person subject to the Pennsylvania Rules of Disciplinary Enforcement. Such persons include any:

• attorney admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania
• attorney of another jurisdiction specially admitted to the bar of the Supreme Court for a particular proceeding
• disbarred, suspended or inactive attorney, with respect to violation of any rules committed prior to disbarment, suspension or transfer to inactivity
• justice, judge or district justice, with respect to any violation of rules committed prior to taking office, if the Judicial Conduct Board declines jurisdiction
• attorney who resumes practice of law, with respect to any nonjudicial acts
