VERSION 4 Informational 4.16 March 22, 2001 Page 1 of 1 JNET SECURITY POLICY A reminder to all JNET users: It is a violation of the AOPC JNET security policy to reveal your user identification and your password to other users in your office or to individuals who do business in your court such as police officers or constables. JNET is for your official tasks only. Official tasks are defined as those that are necessary for performing the statutorily authorized duties and fulfilling prescribed responsibilities of the office of district justice. Before JNET was installed in your office, a packet of information including the AOPC JNET security policy, was mailed to each district court. Each user of JNET signed and returned a form acknowledging receipt of the security policy. Please review the security policy and understand the consequences of violations of the security policy. These include, but are not limited to, the barring of future access to JNET information as well as referral to the Judicial Conduct Board.
