VERSION 3 MODIFICATION #50 December 5, 1997 Page 1 of 1 NOTICE OF JUDGMENT/TRANSCRIPT CIVIL CASE CHANGES With the new (IBM 4312) printers, we released an updated version of the Notice of Judgment/Transcript Civil Case (AOPC 315-96) form. The box on the center right side of the form has three new areas: Post Judgment Credits, Post Judgment Costs, and Certified Judgment Total. We are in the process of making program changes to the DJS so that the appropriate amounts for these three new areas will be filled in automatically. Until those programming changes are completed, you can fill in the amounts manually, if they are applicable. "Post Judgment Credits" represent any amounts the plaintiff wants to be deducted from the "Amount of Judgment." "Post Judgment Costs" represent amounts to be added to the "Amount of Judgment". These additional costs, (such as server fees or certification charges), if applicable, would increase the "Amount of Judgment". The "Post Judgment Credits/Costs" must be deducted from or added to the amount of Judgment before the Judgment is forwarded to and recorded at the Prothonotary's office. In other words, "Certified Judgment Total" is the total amount of the Judgment after Post Judgment Credits and Post Judgment Costs have been taken into account. There is also a new area on the left side of the form that appears as a new check box. This reads, "Amount of Judgment Subject to Attachment/Act 5 of 1996 $_________." This box is used to indicate the amount of the judgment that represents the amount of damage to real property. This amount can be deducted from the defendant's wages at the Prothonotary's office. NEW CASE MANAGEMENT REPORT A new Case Management Report, Aged Accounts Receivable Report, is now available on the Case Management Reports Menu. This report will show cases with a balance due. The Aged Accounts Receivable Report calculates the number of days overdue based upon the next payment due date for a case with a time payment order or the date of disposition if a full payment is due.
